page. Clicking on any page of any section will take you to that page at any time. Please use the vertical scroll bar on the righthand side of the Table of Contents to view the entire listing of Contents.

The main section of each page of the course will have course text, video, images, or review questions - or a combination of these. If there is a vertical scroll bar (as in this first page pictured above) please use it to find the remaining text on the page.

Clicking on a linked word will either take you to an external web site or to the Glossary (seen as a tab on the bottom left of each page of the course).

This Glossary will provide you with definitions of terms that may be unfamiliar to you. Clicking on a hyperlinked word that is present in the Glossary will open the Glossary window providing you with an opportunity to read more about the term. (You may also go directly to the Glossary by clicking on the tabbed labeled Glossary at the bottom of each page.) To close the Glossary, please click on the X in the upper right hand corner of the Glossary window.

Use the main navigational buttonsin the bottom right corner of each page to go to the next or previous pages of the course. (To print out this page of helps, go to the top of your browser window and click on the printer icon or on File (then print).

Navigation Notes:

Please click the link "Start Course" in the window at the right to launch the course in a new browser window.

This course uses Flash player and Java Scripts that may have your browser ask for permission to proceed. To avoid this, turn off your popup blockers and/or adjust your settings to allow popups.

Internet Explorer: - Turn off your popup blocker. Otherwise a horizontal bar appears with the message "Click here for options". Click on the bar and choose "Allow blocked content." to load (you may need to do this twice in Internet Explorer) and/or go to your browser controls and give permission to use popups for these pages.

Note to Users of Firefox browser: If you do not find the navigation "back <---" and "next ---> arrow buttons on the bottom of your Course window , look at the top of the screen to see if Firefox has inserted a warning bar across the top of the window, thus pushing the Course's user window down and the navigation below the bottom edge of the window. Firefox inserts this bar (with a button called "options" on the righthand side of this bar) to ask if you want to go ahead and run the course page. Once you have given the browser permission to run the page, the bar will disappear and the Course window will include the Course navigation arrows on the bottom of the page.
